has confirmed. "Yes, we introduced the Nano at the Taj Mahal."
After years of hard work, Tata has fulfilled its commitment to
provide the cheapest car- Nano in the world at price $ 2,500
last year, says PTI
Who is Ratan Tata?
Ratan Tata is the current president of major Indian companies
such as Tata sons, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Tata Power, Tata
Consultancy Services, Tata Tea, Tata Chemicals, Indian Hotels
Company and Tata Teleservices. Taj hotel, where the President
Obama was staying in Bombay is part of the Indian Hotels Company
of Ratan Tata.
On March 26, 2008, Ratan Tata has bought Jaguar and Land Rover
from Ford Motor Company. He acquired two luxury car brands
British Jaguar and Land Rover for 2.3 billion dollars. So Tata
is a business owner of the most luxurious cars in the world.

Ratan Tata has achieved his dream by launching the cheapest car
in the world - Nano at Auto Expo in New Delhi January 10, 2008.
Three models of the world's cheapest car Nano is running on the
roads of India. And the cheapest car in the world Nano is a
success and its production of 100,000 cars was reserved on
launch day.
Tata Motors Ltd., manufacturer of India's largest vehicle is
still in the late deliveries of its car Nano to its first
100,000 customers selected. The production capacity of the Nano
car plant is 250,000 cars per year, when the plant became fully
operational. Presently world wonder Nano Car is available only
in India.
According to Ratan Tata, the world's cheapest car Nano is a PS
33 (33 hp/24 kW) car with a 623 cc rear engine and rear wheel
drive. Nano car has a fuel economy of 4.55 L/100 km (21.97 km /
L, 51.7 mpg (U.S.), 62 mpg (UK)) under city road conditions, and
3.85 L / 100 km on the highway (25.97 km / L, 61.1 mpg (U.S.),
73.3 mpg (UK)). Nano car has a gasoline engine with two
cylinders. It will be used in a car with a single balancer
shaft. Tata Motors had filed several patents related to
innovations in the design of the car Nano, with powertrain
design alone having 34 patents. According to Tata, the cheapest
car in the world-Nano complies with Bharat Stage-III emission
standards Euro-IV.
The Nano car is cheap and currently meets all Indian emission,
pollution, and safety standards. The fuel efficiency is
attractive. So says an owner of a Nano Car
